Associate Responsibilities
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures, conduct safety checks, report hazards, ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure products meet quality standards, address and resolve quality issues promptly and collaborate with quality assurance team.
- Shift Management: Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned shifts, ensure production targets and schedules are met.
- Team Leadership: Support and mentor production staff, assign tasks and monitor performance and provide technical support as needed.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production issues with relevant team, minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely logs, track production metrics (output, yield, waste) and prepare reports for management.
- Inventory & Material Management: Monitor material usage, coordinate with warehouse or supply chain teams and prevent material shortages or overstocking.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Minimum Technical diploma in Food Engineering, Mechanical Automation, Production Management, or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, or Manufacturing Management is a plus.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Prior experience in supervisory or managerial roles within the food industry is preferable.
- Experience with food safety and quality management systems such as HACCP, GHP, ISO22000, and BRCGS is preferred.
English Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English is essential
- Understanding technical documentation and safety standards
