At Aprati Foods (AFC), we believe that standards provide associates with clear expectations. We believe that communicating clear expectations is a necessary step in creating a great place to work.  AFC uses international standards and develops internal standards, so that associates know what acceptable work looks, feels and tastes like.  Standards and expectations help to reveal problems; if we have no standards and expectations, then we have no problems. At AFC, we seek out problems by listening and responding to our consumers, customers, associates, suppliers and other stakeholders.  AFC wants all associates to be strong at finding problems and solving problems.

Every associate makes many important decisions every day.  How do we make decisions at Aprati Foods?  AFC associates use five overarching decision-making priorities: Safety, Honesty, Quality, On-Time Delivery and Profit. These priorities are in rank order of importance:

1. AFC is committed to providing SAFETY. Safety means the safety of people. Safety is # 1. We produce safe food for consumers; create a safe and healthy workplace for our associates, contractors and visitors; and we contribute to the wellbeing of our community by being a socially responsible company.

2. AFC is committed to working with HONESTY .At AFC, we strive to conduct business lawfully, ethically and responsibly. Honesty is how we work with one another, our suppliers, our customers, our stakeholders and our society. Associates are encouraged to provide honest and frequent feedback, exposing problems to enable continuous improvement.  AFC works to follow all legal and regulatory requirements.  AFC purchases raw materials from reputable suppliers, which meet standards for integrity.  AFC produces and sells authentic products; products are of the nature, quality and substance expected.  For example: associates and intermediaries are not allowed to give bribes when conducting business with government officials; products meet customer requirements.

3. AFC is committed to delivering QUALITY. Quality is good work.  At AFC, we work to make quality, standard products that will create HAPPY CONSUMER EXPERIENCES.  When it comes to products, consumers are the ultimate judges of quality, and their feedback is vital to our success. Quality is about more than just products.  We never want to pass defective work, of any type, to the next person, because that leads to the waste of re-work, which adds extra cost and time.  Products, services and information provided to internal and external customers should be of high quality.

4. AFC is committed to ON-TIME Delivery. Products, services and information should reach external and internal customers on-time.  At AFC, we want to get the right product to the right place at the right time, so that consumers can enjoy them.  We want to streamline our processes to reduce the waste of waiting.

5. AFC is committed to earning PROFIT. To earn profit, AFC must generate sufficient revenue and control costs.  In striving to earn a profit, AFC does not compromise on essential elements of Safety, Honesty, Quality or On-Time Delivery.
