Quality Assurance Manager

Job Requirements

1/ Bachelor’s degree in food science and technology or chemical Engineering or related field

2/ Minimum 4 years of job-related experience

3/ Understanding of reading and interpreting food safety standard GMP; HACCP; BRC

4/ Preferred: GFSI-level standards (BRC, SQF, FSSC 22000, etc); FSMA-FDA; ISO 9001; ISO 14001; OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 and other ISO standards,       utilizing the PDCA approach.

5/ Experience with implementation of corrective action programs

6/ Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience

7/ English is a must, required English Languages Skill (ISLPR Scales) as overall score at least 3 or higher

8/ Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases/statistic

9/ Leadership and management, data analysis, problem analysis and solving, planning and organizing, decision-making skills

Responsibilities/Major Job Outcomes

1/ Manage sub-department and accountable

2/ Lead and Organize Food Safety and Quality Team (serving as FSQT Chairperson)

3/ Develop and maintain Food Safety Plan (HACCP & HARPC) under company product scope

4/ Ensure that raw materials and finished product testing and inspection are on-time and meet quality and safety criteria(s)

5/ Sourcing and communicating with 3rd party laboratory

6/ Responsible for process and product verification/validation

7/ On-time product release for production and customer

8/ Monitor on raw materials and finished products’ specification

9/ Monitor on supplier of service compliance.

10/ Development new testing methods (in-house).

11/ Draft and finalize on company’s standard procedures and other compliance documents.

12/ Provide consultation and assistance with the company’s food safety policies and day-to-day activities within process/product quality.

13/ Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet safety and quality standards.

14/ Facilitate and support on-site audits conducted by external party.

15/ Coordinate food safety standard compliance including GMP, HACCP and BRC.
